Maureen was absolutely brilliant from the moment I got in touch and I was thrilled she had my date free and was able to cater to me for both hair and makeup for myself, three bridesmaids, mother of the bride and a few extra wedding guests. At my trial she discussed different looks for hair and I put my trust in her and I was so happy with the end product as was my mum who also had a hair trial for the big day. Nicola who did both of our make up was super too, making us feel glam but not too over the top. When the big day itself came around Maureen had already worked out all the timings and everything.

I can’t thank Maureen and Carol enough for stepping in last minute when my arranged make-up artist took unwell. It was 5 days before my nephews wedding and I resigned myself to the thought of having to do my own make-up. I was more concerned about letting my sister (mother of the groom) down and thought I’d make a couple of calls to see if anyone was available. I found The Bride to be… online, the reviews were good and we weren’t disappointed. I got a call back from Maureen, within an hour of my initial enquiry and before the end of the night, Carol was in touch to confirm our booking.

I cannot recommend Maureen and her makeup artist, Jenny, highly enough! Maureen is a perfectionist in the best possible way – she will do everything she can to ensure you your hair is perfect for your wedding day, and exactly as you envisioned. My hair held all day and still looked just as amazing at the end of the day. Jenny is a wonderful makeup artist who really listens to what you are looking for. My makeup was natural but flawless! I still get compliments when people see my photos but really these compliments should go to Maureen and Jenny!

She has been looking after my family hairstyles too who come over from Italy and she was amazing on dealing with requests always with a huge smile!
