Back in January 2023, I had the absolute pleasure of taking part in a beautifully curated styled photoshoot with the wonderful Romina Key Photography and Maia Events Planner. Set within the atmospheric walls of Lindores Abbey Distillery, the day was filled with creativity, collaboration, and a shared vision to showcase a modern Scottish bridal look with subtle traditional twists.
The theme—“Cool Bride Vibes with Traditional Touches”—was the perfect balance of fresh, fashion-forward styling paired with those timeless Scottish details we all adore. Think contemporary silhouettes, natural-but-chic beauty styling, and elegant textures set against the rich history and rustic charm of the distillery.
I focused on creating hair and makeup looks that felt effortless yet elevated—glowy, modern skin, softly sculpted eyes, and hair that moved beautifully. The idea was to capture that relaxed confidence today’s brides love, while still honouring the classic romance of a Scottish wedding day.
